Sarah Williams

Technology and cybersecurity are essential components of The Welch Group’s operations, and both are overseen by our Systems Administrator, Sarah Williams. As the head of the IT department, Sarah focuses on database architecture, management, and optimization, along with cybersecurity infrastructure. Her goal is to help ensure that the systems supporting our work remain secure, reliable, and responsive to the firm’s needs.

The team-oriented approach at The Welch Group extends throughout the entire firm, which is an aspect of the culture that Sarah particularly values. Whether she is working within the IT department or collaborating with staff across the organization, Sarah enjoys partnering with others to solve problems and align technology, processes, and people in ways that support both the firm and our clients.

Sarah joined The Welch Group as a Data Analyst in 2020, following her experience in hospitality and later as a transformational analyst. Her earlier work in technology strengthened her ability to identify inefficiencies, simplify complex workflows, and develop sustainable solutions. Experience in the hospitality industry also taught her to communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure. These skills enable her to address technical challenges at The Welch Group with both precision and an understanding of the individuals who rely on the systems she supports.

When she is not at work, Sarah is likely reading, going to the movies, or exploring Birmingham’s restaurant scene.
