Christianna Hornigold

Christianna Hornigold became an Associate Advisor with The Welch Group in 2026, bringing with her a longstanding interest in personal finance and a genuine desire to help others navigate it. Her interest began with a personal finance course in high school and grew during college, where she applied what she learned to her own life and helped friends do the same. Christianna quickly recognized that many young adults felt unprepared to manage their finances, which helped clarify the direction she wanted her career to take.

During this time, Christianna also attended many meetings with her family’s financial advisor and experienced their patience and willingness to answer her questions. One of the advisors, a woman, encouraged Christianna to pursue a career in financial advising, helping her envision a similar path for herself. Later, a financial planning internship with a firm in Atlanta, Georgia, provided her first professional exposure to the industry and solidified her decision to become a financial advisor.

She also worked as a racquet sports instructor at the Country Club of Birmingham, where she learned to adapt her communication and coaching styles to the different personalities, needs, and learning preferences of her clients. Today, Christianna brings that attentiveness to her interactions with both clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and competing in tennis and pickleball tournaments.
