Michael Wagner

Michael Wagner currently serves as Managing Member and Director of Business Development. Since joining The Welch Group in 2006, he has developed a personal connection to the firm’s mission: enriching the lives of others. He finds purpose in helping clients pursue their goals, collaborating with a talented team of colleagues, and building relationships with people across the community.
Michael’s accounting background naturally informs his interest in tax planning. He enjoys helping clients identify tax-saving opportunities and understand the tax implications of their broader financial decisions. His commitment to serving others also extends into the community through The Welch Group Foundation and his involvement with local organizations.
Outside of work, Michael can often be found coaching lacrosse, attending his children’s sporting events, working out, or cheering on Alabama football and basketball.
