Katie Deerman

Katie Deerman serves as an Associate Advisor with The Welch Group, supporting clients and the advising team. After just more than two years in accounting, Katie chose to pursue a role in financial advising because she wanted to help make financial decisions feel more understandable and manageable for others. She especially values building meaningful relationships and supporting clients as their lives, priorities, and financial needs evolve.

Starting her career in public accounting before joining The Welch Group in 2025 strengthened Katie’s technical knowledge and taught her to approach complex financial information with accuracy, diligence, and close attention to detail. As a CPA, she brings an understanding of how tax considerations can fit within a client’s broader financial strategy and helps the advising team develop guidance that is both technically informed and practical.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys staying active, reading, cooking and baking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Whether sharing a meal, exploring a new city, or simply catching up, she cherishes any quality time spent with the people closest to her.
