About Greta Sandy

Greta Sandy joined The Welch Group in 2022 and serves as a Senior Advisor.

Her range of professional experience brings a unique perspective to her role at The Welch Group. She has earned the Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets (CBDA), a certification awarded to financial professionals who exhibit proficiency in the areas of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and other digital assets. With this designation, Greta has obtained a thorough comprehension of these emerging asset categories and how they may be integrated into the future of finance, technology, and beyond. Prior to joining the firm, Greta worked as a copywriter with Shipt and as a Realtor® before pursuing her Master’s degree in Family Financial Planning at the University of Alabama.

In addition to her role at the firm, Greta is a classically-trained singer. She has performed in operas, elite choral groups, a cover band, and a variety of musical showcases in Birmingham. Outside of work, Greta enjoys baking, hiking with her husband, and sitting down to read a good book next to their cat, Flips.
