Kelly DeRoy

Kelly DeRoy currently serves as the Data & Analytics Manager and Compliance Specialist at The Welch Group. Since joining the firm in 2011, Kelly has gained a deep understanding of its operations and extensive knowledge about the analytics that support them. In her role, she helps turn complex information into clear reporting that supports decision-making across the firm. By working to maintain data integrity, she plays a key role in providing a reliable foundation for the firm’s advisors and team.

Before her time at The Welch Group, Kelly spent five years as a financial analyst for a local hospital in the Birmingham area. This experience strengthened her critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, while also teaching her about data input and analysis and the importance of accurate information. Her career has consistently revolved around analytics, an area where she has developed a strong passion that is rooted in her enjoyment of solving complex challenges.

Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time with her husband and two girls. She also enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and crafting.
