Matt Savela

Matt Savela has been with The Welch Group since 2018 and currently serves as a Member and Senior Advisor. In this role, Matt aims to provide meaningful guidance that truly impacts people’s lives. His approach to client relationships is grounded in an appreciation for the trust clients place in their advising team and a desire to provide clarity throughout their financial journeys.
Before joining the firm, Matt spent six years working in accounting, which gave him valuable insights into everyday tax planning that continue to help him guide clients today.
From woodworking and cooking to golfing and other outdoor activities, Matt enjoys many hobbies outside of work. He is also actively involved in the Birmingham community and cherishes the time he spends with his family.
